How color behaves in earrings
Color behaves differently in earrings than in rings. An earring is seen against skin and hair rather than against the back of a hand, and usually in motion, so saturation reads more strongly than it does in a ring of the same stone. Softer tones that look delicate in a ring often read clearly in the ear.
Setting metal is the lever
A white gold setting isolates a yellow or pink stone and makes the color read as deliberate; a yellow gold setting around a yellow stone merges the two into a single warm note. Halo and accent designs that ring a colored center with white stones give the eye a reference point and intensify the color by contrast.
Choosing a style
Studs put the color at the lobe where it is seen head-on and are the easiest to wear daily. Halos enlarge the apparent size and sharpen the color at the same time, which makes a smaller colored center go further. Drops add movement, so the color catches light continuously as the head turns, and suit occasion wear.
Lab-grown, natural or moissanite
Every pair here can be made with lab-grown diamonds, natural diamonds or moissanite. Natural colored diamonds are graded by GIA, lab-grown by IGI, and moissanite carries a GRA certificate. Each pair is handcrafted to order in our Bangkok workshop in solid 9K to 18K gold, never plated, with free worldwide shipping, duties included, and 30-day returns.

Colored diamond earring FAQs
Do colored diamonds look more vivid in earrings?
Often, yes. Earrings are seen against skin and hair and usually in motion, so saturation registers more strongly than it does in a ring holding the same stone.
Which earring back should I choose?
Push-backs are fine for light studs. Screw-backs and la pousette backs are more secure and are the better choice for heavier pairs or anything worn all day.
Are lab-grown colored diamonds real diamonds?
Yes. They have the same chemical composition, hardness and optical properties as mined stones. The difference is origin, not material.
Will a halo make the color look stronger?
Yes. White diamonds around a colored center give the eye a neutral reference, and the contrast makes the color read more strongly than the same stone set alone.
Do your colored diamonds come certified?
Yes. Natural diamonds are certified by GIA, lab-grown diamonds by IGI, and moissanite by GRA. Every gold piece is also stamped and certified for purity and weight.
Can I match earrings to a necklace?
Yes. Most designs here can be paired with a matching necklace in the same stones and metal as a set.
