1. Overview

This website, claratas.com, is operated by Claratas ("Claratas", "we", "us" or "our"), 1930 Ridge Ave, Evanston, IL 60201, United States. These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of the website and to any purchase you make from us. By visiting the website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Shipping Policy, which form part of these Terms.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least the age of majority in your place of residence to place an order. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account.

3. Products and descriptions

• We sell fine jewelry set with moissanite, lab-grown diamonds and natural diamonds, in gold of the purities shown on each product page. The stone type, carat or stone size, metal and purity you select are confirmed in your order.
• Each piece is supplied with the certification described on our Certification page.
• Many pieces are made or finished to order, so small natural variations in measurements, weight and appearance may occur. Product photos are representative; colors may look slightly different depending on your screen.
• We aim to describe every product accurately. If an item you receive does not match its description, contact us and it will be handled under our Refund Policy.

4. Prices and payment

• All prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout. Shipping is free and import duties and taxes are included, as set out in our Shipping Policy, so the total shown at checkout is the total you pay.
• Payment is taken at the time of order through our secure checkout. We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout.
• If a price is listed incorrectly because of an obvious error, we will contact you before shipping and you may choose to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

5. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send you an order confirmation email. We may decline or cancel an order (for example, if an item is unavailable or we suspect fraud); if we do, we will refund any amount paid in full.

6. Shipping and delivery

We ship free worldwide to the countries listed in our Shipping Policy. Orders are processed within up to 6 business days and are typically delivered about 6 business days after dispatch. All shipments are insured and tracked. Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed.

7. Returns and refunds

You may return any item, including custom, engraved and resized pieces, within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, with a free prepaid return label. Full details are in our Refund Policy.

8. Custom and bespoke orders

For custom designs, we will confirm the specifications and price with you in writing before production begins. Custom pieces are covered by the same 30-day return policy as all other items.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, images, designs and logos, belongs to Claratas or its licensors and may not be copied or used without our written permission.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the website for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with its operation or security, or to submit false information.

11. Third-party links and services

The website may contain links to or use services from third parties (such as payment providers and carriers). We are not responsible for third-party websites or their content.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Claratas is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the website or products, and our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. This does not affect any mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the laws of the country where you live.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on this page at the time you place an order applies to that order.
