Radiant Diamond Engagement Rings
The radiant cut combines the sparkle of a round brilliant with a striking square or rectangular shape. Shop our radiant cut engagement rings in solid gold, with Lab-Grown, Natural, or Moissanite stones.
The radiant cut is the hybrid of the two families — the rectangular outline and cropped corners of an emerald cut, combined with the brilliant faceting of a round. It is the shape to look at if you want the long, architectural silhouette of a step cut without the step cut's demand for a very clean stone.
Because the brilliant faceting breaks up light into many small returns, inclusions and body colour are far better hidden than in an emerald or Asscher of the same grade. That same property makes the radiant the shape that intensifies fancy colour most effectively, which is why it appears so often in fancy yellow. Cropped corners also make it durable enough for daily wear without protective prongs.
