Certification
Every Claratas piece comes with documentation showing exactly what you are buying. The certificate depends on the stone and the metal, as set out below.

Moissanite: GRA certificate
Every moissanite stone comes with a GRA (Gemological Research Association) certificate. The certificate identifies the stone as moissanite and records its details, such as shape, size, colour and clarity, under a unique report number.
Lab-grown diamonds: IGI certificate
Our lab-grown diamonds are certified by IGI (International Gemological Institute), one of the most widely used laboratories for lab-grown diamonds. An IGI report states that the diamond is laboratory-grown and grades it on the 4Cs: cut, colour, clarity and carat weight, along with its measurements. You can check any IGI report number on the IGI website.
Natural diamond solitaires: GIA, IGI or SGL certificate
Each natural diamond solitaire comes with an independent grading report from one of three laboratories:
- GIA (Gemological Institute of America)
- IGI (International Gemological Institute)
- SGL (Solitaire Gemmological Laboratories)
The report confirms the diamond is natural and grades its 4Cs. Which laboratory certified a particular stone depends on that stone. If you want a specific laboratory, or want to see the certificate before you order, contact us and we will share the details.
Gold: stamping and jewelry certificate
We offer gold in five purities. Every gold piece is stamped with its purity:

Each piece also comes with a jewelry certificate stating the purity of the gold and the weight of the piece, so you know exactly how much gold you are getting.
