A custom bracelet is the piece where fit does most of the work, because a bracelet is the only item that moves freely against the body all day. The usual allowance is about half an inch over the measured wrist — enough to rotate and sit naturally, not enough to slide over the hand or spin so the clasp travels to the top.
Beyond fit, the choices are setting style and stone arrangement. Prong settings give the brightest line, bezel settings the most secure and snag-free one, and channel settings the lowest profile. A graduated arrangement tapers toward the clasp and follows the wrist; a uniform line is more formal. Stones are available as natural diamond, lab-grown diamond or moissanite.
