Ring Size Guide
Finding the right ring size takes two minutes. Use one of the methods below, then check the chart. Every Claratas ring is made to order in your exact size, from US 2 to 10 and above, including half and quarter sizes.
How to measure your ring size at home
Method 1: Measure a ring you already own
- Choose a ring that fits the finger you are sizing.
- Measure the inside diameter from edge to edge in millimetres.
- Find the closest diameter in the chart below.
Method 2: Measure your finger with string or paper
- Wrap a thin strip of paper or string around the base of your finger.
- Mark where it overlaps. Make sure it can slide over your knuckle.
- Lay it flat and measure the length in millimetres. This is your circumference.
- Find the closest circumference in the chart below.

Sizes are approximate conversions. If you are between two sizes, choose the larger one.
Tips for an accurate fit
- Measure at the end of the day, when your fingers are warm.
- Measure the finger two or three times to be sure.
- Wider bands fit more snugly, so consider a quarter or half size up for bands over 5 mm.
- If your knuckle is larger than the base of your finger, choose a size that slides over the knuckle.

What if I order the wrong size?

How do I find their ring size for a surprise proposal?
Borrow a ring they already wear on the same finger and measure its inside diameter against the chart, or trace the inside of the ring on paper. If you are between sizes, choose the larger size.
Should an engagement ring and wedding band be the same size?
Usually yes. Wide bands (over 5 mm) can feel tighter, so many people go up a quarter or half size for a wide band.
When is the best time to measure?
Measure at the end of the day when your hands are warm. Fingers are smaller in the cold and first thing in the morning.
